IPM Limited were appointed by The States of Jersey Department for Infrastructure to Project Manage a new Asbestos Reception Facility within the La Collette reclamation area and adjacent to other waste reception and processing facilities.The project included a concrete slab handling area with associated precast units and cabins, fencing, roadworks, signage, provision of temporary and permanent services and installation of specialist Up-flo filtered drainage system.IPM Limited had various tasks which they needed to provide.These included:

• Procure services of structural engineer and services engineer to assess options and comply with statutory requirements for the waste handling facility.

• Procurement of client direct items including cabins, fencing and water booster.

• Issue of Tender documentation for civil works and marking returned tenders.

• Provide project programme and monitor progress, provide contract administration services.

• Monitoring the completion of construction works, attend practical completion and monitor rectification of defects before final payment.

• Preparation of Health and Safety File and Standard Operating Procedure documents.

The project was completed on time meeting the client's requirements and was within budget.
